Gulf Coast Boat Training is led by Chris Sailors, a United States Coast Guard licensed 100-ton captain and yacht broker with over 25 years of real-world boating experience on the Gulf Coast. Chris has spent years operating in busy, high-traffic waters around Destin and the surrounding areas, giving him a deep understanding of boat handling, docking, and real-world conditions that most boaters face every day. His background includes running a wide range of vessels and helping people feel confident on the water, whether they are brand new to boating or looking to improve their skills. As a father of three and a youth baseball coach, Chris understands how important it is for families to feel safe and comfortable on the water. His approach to training is calm, practical, and hands-on, focused on building real confidence, not just explaining theory. All lessons are done on your own boat so you can learn exactly how your vessel responds in the environments you actually use it. The goal is simple: help you operate your boat safely, confidently, and without stress.
