I have been sailing my own boats for over 15 years. I've been both captain and crew for many deliveries in the Gulf of America and the Atlantic from Florida to Maryland. Most of my experience is with sailboats from 18 to 50 ft lengths. I am a retired law enforcement lieutenant. I can mitigate most issues that arise, but I am not a mechanic.
